The China Chamber of Commerce in Australia (CCCA) and the Australia China Business Council (Victoria are pleased to invite you to the 2018 China International Import Expo (CIIE) Business Forum Melbourne.

The forum will provide a briefing to companies interested in participating in the Expo, in areas including high-end intelligent equipment, consumer electronics and appliances, automobile, apparel, accessories and consumer goods, food and agricultural products, medical equipment and medical care products, tourism, emerging technologies, culture and education, creative design, and service outsourcing.

At the forum, attendees will hear from speakers including the Chinese Consul general, Mr Zhao Jian, the President of the CCCA, Mr Huaiyu Chen, the President of the CCCA Melbourne, Mr Paul Li, and representatives from Austrade and Victorian Government.

Experts will give attendees insights into opportunities for Australian businesses at the CIIE and will provide tips for businesses wanting to participate in the CIIE.

Networking opportunities will take place during lunch provided on the day.

About the CIIE

On 5 to 10 November 2018, China will host its first China International Import Expo (CIIE). Taking place in Shanghai, the hub of trade in China today, the Expo will feature exhibits in areas including high-end intelligent equipment, consumer electronics and appliances, food and agricultural products.

Over 100 countries and regions are expected to participate in the event, which represents an important move by China to open up its market and promote international trade, whilst also serving as a platform for countries around the world to showcase their development achievements, and discuss global economic and trade issues.
