The 2nd Annual Iran Mining Technology (IMT) Summit aims to bring together various stakeholders to focus on current market trends, technological advancements, and future challenges in mines and the mineral exploration sector.
Iran is becoming one of the preferred trade partners since the easing of sanctions that came into effect January 2016.
Ranked as one of the world's most mineral rich countries, and according to exploratory studies, Iran has 37 billion tons of proven mineral reserves, such as coal, iron-ore, copper, lead, zinc, chromium, salt, uranium, gold and barite.
Sponsored by Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO), this two-day summit will act as a platform for all attendees, such as Ministers, research institutions and industry specialists, to have open discussions regarding upcoming developments in mines and the mineral exploration sector.
Featuring one-on-one networking sessions with key decision makers and C-level executives, the summit will focus on international best practices, the overall renovation in the mining industry, and the next generation of technology opportunities in Iran.
