Level 46, 55 Collins Street, Melbourne, Australia

If you're a Victorian digital technology company seeking to tackle the South East Asian market for the first time, or looking to grow your business and enter the market, or expand your existing activities in the region, Trade Victoria invites you to this exclusive half-day workshop.

The geographically close and increasingly technologically sophisticated ASEAN region is an important market for Victorian technology companies.

This workshop features presentations from regional specialists talking about their respective markets from a technology perspective, and leading professional advisors talking about key issues that companies should consider when planning international expansion, such as:

  • market entry strategies
  • IP protection
  • sources of support
  • funding.

Trade Victoria will also host a panel discussion between Victorian business owners who've successfully taken their companies to the region. Panelists will share their local knowledge and experience – and to conclude the workshop – will join in on a Q&A session between panelists and participants.

Networking opportunities will be provided after the workshop over lunch.

While the event is primarily an information sharing workshop, Trade Victoria will also provide information about the Victorian Government trade mission to CommunicAsia in Singapore in June 2018. CommunicAsia is the largest platform for technology companies in South East Asia, and this year the mission also includes a one-day business program in Bangkok, Thailand.

Complimentary lunch and light refreshments will be provided.
Entrance to the workshop is free, however participants are required to register.
