Defence Export Controls (DEC), has added an extra event to the 2018 outreach program. During the visit we will explain what regulations govern export controls and what is required of exporters to ensure efficient and compliant exports.
The program will be delivered in two sessions. Time has been allocated during each session for QA following presentations. There will be no costs for attendance and morning tea will be provided.
Session One: Introduction to export control regulations
Our first session covers the basics of export controls and regulations. This introduction will introduce the fundamentals and pave the way for discussions throughout the day.
Session Two: Practical applications
The final session is a 'Defence Industry Stream' specific presentation.
We encourage you to actively participate in the event. Your feedback is important to us. We will have feedback forms available for you to complete throughout the day to assist us with improving future programs.
