IMARC: Melbourne October 2018

Australia's largest mining conference – International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) – will be held in Melbourne from 29 October – 1 November 2018.

Australia's resources industry is a key driver of the economy and IMARC brings together global leaders, executives, investors and national mining ministers from the international resource sector.

IMARC 2017 attracted over 3500 delegates from 77 countries as well as over 30 international ministers and government representatives.

Australia's mining and mining services credentials, coupled with Melbourne's reputation for holding large scale events provides the perfect setting for IMARC.

This year’s IMARC will coincide with the bi-annual meeting of the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM) in Melbourne making the event bigger and better than ever before.

ICMM represents 27 of the world’s largest mining and metals companies and more than 30 commodity and national associations. This is the first-ever ICMM Council meeting held in the southern hemisphere, underlining Melbourne’s status as a global mining hub.
