Food and Beverage Trade Week is Australia’s premier invitation-only international food trade that connects local Victorian producers to global business and industry. Victoria is known around the world for being home to a diverse and vibrant food and beverage sector, and provides everything from the highest quality clean and green produce, to state-of-the-art advanced manufacturers.
From 11 to 13 September 2018, Trade Victoria will invite over 100 qualified, international buyers to Victoria to find new products for their portfolio. If you're looking for new international connections, want to strengthen your existing relationships, or trial a new product for feedback, then this is the event for you.
For international buyers, Food and Beverage Trade Week offers access to a personalised and tailored service for providing new product opportunities in Victoria’s food and fibre industry. Visiting delegates have the opportunity to attend industry showcase events, site tours to regional businesses across the state, and specialised business matching sessions to connect buyers with local suppliers.

What types of businesses should attend?
Export ready Victorian food companies are encouraged to attend. This year's program will focus on the following streams:
- Processed foods
- Non-alcoholic beverages
Please note that wine and alcoholic beverages will not be featuring as part of the 2018 program. Other dedicated programs will be arranged for these sectors.
Why should you attend?
Companies seeking to showcase their dedication, innovation, passion, and commitment to quality with targeted engagement sessions.
- Tuesday 11 September – there will be a Food and Beverage Trade week Product Showcase, providing opportunities to present your product to all international buyers, schedule meetings with key contacts, as well as sample off-the-stand and gain valuable consumer feedback.
- Wednesday 12 September – show buyers the quality of your products by hosting them through your facilities. Buyer groups comprise 10 to 20 people, and the names of buyers will be provided in advance.
- Thursday 13 September – participate in one-on-one business meetings, and then join us at the final opportunity to meet with the buyers and other food industry representatives at the Buyer-Supplier Networking Function.
