Program overview

The Access Program offers facilities, export-related assistance and in-country expertise to Victorian company representatives visiting overseas markets.

Am I Eligible?

Victorian companies wishing to use the program must receive approval from the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources (DEDJTR). Bookings should be made in advance. The program is available on a 'first-come first-served' basis.

The Access Program is available for businesses wishing to expand into the following markets:

  • Americas
  • Japan
  • South Korea
  • Middle East
  • China
  • Hong Kong
  • India
  • South East Asia.

What do I get?

The Trade Victoria's Access Program gives Victorian organisations a key advantage and leverages its ability to understand the inside culture of a new country market.

The Access Programs aim to help Victorian companies to:

Local Trade and Investment Office staff in these markets can provide:

Victorian businesses visiting the VGBOs to identify export opportunities in the regions, may be eligible to use the VGBO's facilities and services including:

  • desk space, computer including broadband access, local phone, printer, copier
  • initial market research
  • cultural training
  • introductions and networking
  • logistical support
  • agent identification
  • product and service evaluation.
