The Victorian Government will lead a trade mission to Foodex, Japan from 6 – 9 March 2018.
Foodex is Japan’s largest food and beverage trade show held in Tokyo.
Trade Victoria is supporting up to 30 qualified food and beverage producers to participate in Foodex Trade Show in Tokyo, Japan. Foodex is Japan’s largest food and beverage trade show, held in March on an annual basis.
Eligible companies will be able to exhibit their products on the Trade Victoria stand, speaking directly to prospective Japanese customers. Trade Victoria will employ a corporate chef, who can assist companies in the preparation and presentation of their products to potential customers.
Together with Austrade Japan, Victorian companies will also be eligible to participate in a bespoke networking function, which will provide another forum to meet with potential Japanese customers.
Export capable food and beverage producers/manufacturers, with a demonstrated focus on the Japanese market, are encouraged to apply by 31 December 2017.
Eligibility, terms and conditions
Applications will be subject to an approval process and participation will be at the discretion of the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources. Read the terms and conditions for participation in the Victorian Government's trade mission program.
A pre-departure briefing will be held approximately two weeks before the mission. It is a requirement that all delegates attend.
