Australia's largest mining conference – International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) – will be held in Melbourne from 30 October – 2 November 2017.
IMARC is the fourth cornerstone in global mining conferences covering the Asia Pacific region.
Australia's resources industry is a key driver of the economy and IMARC brings together global leaders, executives, investors and national mining ministers from the international resource sector.
IMARC 2016 attracted over 2500 delegates from 58 countries as well as 20 international ministers and government representatives. This year's event is expected to attract over 3000.
Australia's mining and mining services credentials, coupled with Melbourne's reputation for holding large scale events provides the perfect setting for IMARC. IMARC is now a natural focal point for businesses in the Asia Pacific region.
The conference, with workshops on 30 November and the conference and exhibition from 31 October – 2 November, provides four days of learning, deal-making opportunities and networking.
The 2017 program will cover all aspects of mining from exploration to investment, production to optimisation through technology, future energy, policy and governance.
The exhibition, which is free to attend, will feature over 100 exhibitors showcasing the latest innovations, technology and services for the mining industry.
