International companies are invited to visit the Melbourne biotech precinct as part of a full day of site visits on Tuesday 28 November.
The Melbourne Biotech precinct is a powerhouse for medical research, education, drug development, diagnosis and patent treatment. The precinct brings together hospitals, universities, research organisations and health care partners.
This full day of site visits will provide opportunities to talk to experts first hand and discuss how highly influential research can lead to long term improvements in disease, diagnosis and treatment.
The American Chamber of Commerce in Australia (AmCham) will lead the mission which will include visits to:
- Murdoch Children's Research Institute
- Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre
- Walter Elisa Hall Institute
- CSL Behring Broadmeadows Manufacturing Facility
The cost to attend is $650.00 for AmCham members and $750.00 for non-members. Places are limited and registration is required.
